The VMEB International Competition offers significant flexibility in repertoire selection, allowing candidates to showcase their best musical and technical achievements.
維也納音樂考試局國際賽提供極大的選曲靈活性，旨在讓參賽者能盡情展現其最佳的音樂造詣與技術水平。
【Graded Levels 1–8 | 分級組：1–8 級】
Participants may select one piece from the corresponding grade of any recognized music examination board’s syllabus, including both current and any past versions.
參賽者可從任何認可音樂考試機構之同級大綱中（包括現行及歷年大綱），選取一首樂曲參賽。

Recognized Syllabi: Includes VMEB, RCM, ABRSM, Trinity College London, or any other recognized examination boards. This covers all repertoire lists (Group/List A, B, C) and all alternative pieces.
認可大綱： 包括 VMEB、RCM、英國皇家音樂學院、聖三一音樂學院 或其他考試機構之大綱曲目（涵蓋清單 A, B, C 及所有替代選曲）。 -
Special Option (Piano & Violin): Participants may also choose designated pieces from the current or any past Inter-School Music Festival graded solo categories (Piano: N100–N130 / Violin: N210–N217).
特別選項（鋼琴/小提琴）： 亦可選用今屆或歷屆校際音樂節分級組指定樂曲 (鋼琴: N100–N130 / 小提琴: N210–N217)。
【Advanced Level | 高級組：文憑級別】
This category corresponds to all professional diploma qualifications.
本組別對應所有專業演奏文憑資格。

Recognized Syllabi: Includes VMEB (TMPZ / CCPZ / SSPZ), ABRSM (DipABRSM / LRSM / FRSM), Trinity (ATCL / LTCL / FTCL), or equivalent diplomas from other boards.
認可大綱： 包括 VMEB (TMPZ / CCPZ / SSPZ)、英國皇家音樂學院 (DipABRSM / LRSM / FRSM)、聖三一音樂學院 (ATCL / LTCL / FTCL) 或其他機構之相應文憑大綱。 -
Movement Selection: For large-scale works such as sonatas, concertos, or suites, participants may perform one or more complete movements to achieve a balance of musicality and technique.
樂章選擇： 奏鳴曲、協奏曲及組曲等大型作品，可選擇一個或多個完整樂章參賽，以達致音樂與技術上的平衡。 -
Time Limit: The total duration of the performance video must not exceed 10 minutes.
錄影時限： 整個表演影片的總長度不得超過 10 分鐘。
Quick Reference | 選曲範例
A Grade 1 candidate may select a piece from a Grade 1 list from any year and any official syllabus (e.g., RCM or ABRSM). Advanced candidates have the flexibility to combine movements within the diploma level.
1 級參賽者可從任何年份、任何官方大綱（如 RCM 或英國皇家）的一級清單中選取樂曲。高級組則可彈性組合文憑級別內的樂章。
